ATTORNEY & STRATEGIST
DeVaughn Swanson is an attorney and strategist who helps businesses and individuals navigate consequential decisions and disputes. Whether advising a small business owner, representing an employee, or advocating for someone who has been injured, he begins by understanding what matters to the client—and builds a strategy around those priorities.
His experience spans corporate transactions, business governance, and high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts. As a former Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., and an associate at two major Michigan law firms, he brings broad experience and practical judgment to each matter. His approach combines thoughtful counsel, clear communication, and determined advocacy.
DeVaughn graduated with honors from Morehouse College and earned a Master of Theological Studies from Duke Divinity School and a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, he served as a judicial intern to now-retired Justice Harold Melton of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
